All other instances do not matter and may echo the article's current title, DeviantArt. The changes that have been made to this by Cyrus XIII are making the article factually incorrect, regardless of the Wikipedia title. This is how they refer to themselves on legal documents. This is exactly how the company is incorporated. Any references to the incorporation, "deviantART, Inc" should be lowercase d, capital ART. This should not be "deviantArt" - it's directly copied and pasted from the reference's. This is the title of the page - not any relation to the article title on WP. But that's mostly an issue with me I think. In this article, it should not be "deviantArt" when referring to a reference's title. I usually can't find anything personally when I try and track people between accounts for any reason. I honestly have no idea how some people track down people, especially when they have wildly different usernames between accounts. It's still credited to them, and if at any point I find an active account for them (which has happened once or twice) I'll just change it to the new link. I've had some cases where an artist has told me "hey can you link here" and I'll gladly change it but if they have no way for me to find an active or view-able account I do my best to just link with what I have. I have a bunch of art of one character in particular that I don't even have any links to (was way before I ever had anything to share and didn't save names as most had sigs and I was a dumb teen) so I just put art not by me, see sig and then if someone steps up and can claim to be the artist then I can edit it.īut for things like dead links, or an issue I tend to have when I get art from the freebie forums on GO, profiles that are not viewable to the public, I still link to it if that is all I have. ![]()
